Sierra Ferrell took home the biggest awards of the night during the 23rd annual Americana Honors & Awards at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Wednesday (September 18). Ferrell won the coveted Artist of the Year Award, and the 36-year-old West Virginia singer also took home Album of the Year honors for her 2024 record, Trail Of Flowers, which was produced by Eddie Spear and Gary Paczosa. This continues the breakout year for Ferrell, who sang a high-profile duet with Post Malone, “Never Love You Again,” which was featured on his chart-topping album, F-1 Trillion.

The rest of the ceremony featured the Red Clay Strays winning Emerging Artist of the Year, Grace Bowers scoring Instrumentalist of the Year, Larkin Poe awarded Duo/Group of the Year, while Song of the Year went to Brandy Clark‘s “Dear Insecurity,” which she wrote with Brandi Carlile. Duane Betts opened the show with a tribute to his late father Dickey Betts by performing the Allman Brothers Band classic, “Blue Sky.” (Holler)
