On New Year’s Eve, Luke Combs shared a one-minute teaser of his unreleased original new song, “More Less Than Perfect,” on TikTok. The emotional ballad features Combs singing over a spare piano melody, with lyrics that reflect on the healing power of being loved despite one’s imperfections. While the new song has fans excited about a future release from Combs, the country superstar stirred up a heated discussion when he asked in the caption, “Who should I duet this with?” The responses focused mainly on women vocalists, with Ella Langley the leading vote-getter so far, along with Kelly Clarkson, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Megan Moroney. Some fans even took their own shot at stardom by volunteering themselves to sing alongside Combs on the tune. No word yet on when Combs is officially releasing “More Less Than Perfect,” nor which singer he will eventually duet with on the track.
