On Tuesday (January 7), Kenny Chesney shared a behind-the-scenes photo of the country star at band rehearsal on Instagram, which has got his No Shoes Nation fans excited about an upcoming tour announcement. Chesney teased the potential tour news even more with his suggestive caption on the post, “New year and new experiences. Started rehearsals today for what’s next. Can’t wait to share.” Typically, Chesney has announced his annual summer tour dates by this point in the year, with the 56-year-old musician frequently alternating from year to year between massive stadium tours and smaller runs at outdoor amphitheaters. Back in 2024, Chesney launched his sold-out Sun Goes Down stadium tour which featured opening acts Zac Brown Band, Megan Moroney, and Uncle Kracker. There are rumors of a possible Las Vegas residency on the horizon for Chesney, while the New England Patriots hat he is sporting in the photo might be a hint that he will return to his beloved Foxborough for another run of shows at Gillette Stadium.
