During a recent appearance on The Pivot podcast, Jelly Roll shared the key to his successful eight-year marriage with Bunnie XO. The country star emphasized that marriage isn’t one-size-fits-all, and people need to evolve with the times while adapting to change with their partner. Jelly, 40, went on to share that one of the most important aspects of his marriage to Bunnie, 44, is that they “enjoy each other’s company” no matter what they are doing. “It’s only getting smoother,” he said of their marriage. “We’re just really getting better. I love her, man. That’s my partner. I used to hate it when people go, ‘That’s my person.’ But I’m like, she’s my person. That’s my person, dude.” The couple met at one of Jelly Roll’s concerts in 2015, and maintained their friendship until they started dating, before marrying in a spontaneous courthouse ceremony in 2016, with Bunnie eventually becoming a stepmother to Jelly Roll’s children.
