Rising country star Drew Baldridge surprised headliner Cody Johnson with a personalized, handcrafted saddle as a thoughtful end-of-tour gift. Baldridge captured his gesture in a TikTok video, where the Illinois-born musician took the opportunity to express his gratitude for the life-changing opportunity from Johnson, who took him out on his high-profile, sold-out tour. “Cody had me out here. He didn’t have to do that—super kind of him,” Baldridge shared as he unveiled his gift for Johnson. “We only got one more show, so check this out. This is the saddle right here.” Johnson was deeply moved by the custom-made present, and immediately recognized the engraving on the saddle of him riding his horse, Booger. “That’s not like a small gift,” Johnson said appreciatively. “Awesome! I recognize the spot. That’s actually me. That’s Booger. I know what photo that is.” The two country stars shared a tender moment backstage, before they got the opportunity to play one more show together on their highly successful tour. (All Country News)
