The election is over. Donald Trump is now our next president. Some are thrilled…here in Idaho, he won our 4 electoral votes decisively (as do all GOP presidential candidates). Others are terrified, and my question to them is, “why?” How do you know with certainty what kind of leader Donald Trump will be? If I had visionary skills like that, I’d be using them on Powerball! My suggestions: wait…breathe…relax…hug your family…make a new friend…fall in love…buy a puppy…live your life! If you’re really disturbed, get involved! Living in fear is pointless, counter-productive, and bad for your health. Be confident that our founding fathers have designed a system with checks and balances to ensure that no one person can go off the rails and destroy our country. We’ve weathered bigger storms in the past 240 years, and this may just be a drizzle…or, in the words of Joe Nichols, it may be “Sunny and 75!”
