Update: Kane Brown’s Sister Expected to Recover After Being Stabbed

Heidi Swafford, 19, the sister of country music artist Kane Brown, is recovering in a Chattanooga, Tenn., hospital after being stabbed in the neck and shoulder. The wounds are non-life threatening, but Heidi may have permanent nerve damage.

Kane brought the incident to light with a Facebook post on July 27.

The Chattanooga Police Department has issued an arrest warrant for a 16-year-old female. She has been charged with attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault.

Local Chattanooga reporter Kelly McCarthy of WRCB posted an update on Twitter.

Kane posted a tweet thanking fans for their prayers.
