Hank Aaron

Hank Aaron was born and raised in Jackson, California.  Jackson is a small town in northern California about one hour east of Sacramento.  It was the heart of the gold country.  Graduated Jackson High School and went to Fresno to attend California State University of Fresno.  got the evening on-air position on KNAX FM 98.  I graduated Fresno state and moved to Seattle to work at KMPS.  From KMPS I worked for two other country radio stations and eventually ended up at Broadcast Programming After living in Seattle for 20 years my family I decided to move to Boise where I am Program Director of KIZN Kissin’ 92.3 and NASH FM 97-9.  I also do the midday show on Kissin’ 92.3.

I have lived on the West Coast my entire life and plan to do so.  My ideal vacation is anywhere with a beach and a cold one.  There are many great memories in the country radio business but one of my favorites is having the chance to meet Johnny Cash and introduce him on stage.

OK favorite foods….anything I can eat….especially Mexican and Sushi.  I am married to Virginia and have three kids, Allison, Megan, and Sam.  Boise is a great town and we hope to make home a long time.

One thing I would like right now…have the winning bid for the Trans Am that was used in Smokey and The Bandit that Burt Reynolds is auctioning off.  How cool!
