Gill spent the past eight years touring with the Eagles, including during their current residency at the Sphere Las Vegas. But this summer, Gill is ready to hit the road on his own, with a series of over 30 headlining dates scheduled across the U.S.. The run of shows begins on May 8 in Rochester, New York, and finishes up with a four-night stand at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium on August 8-9 and 15-16. “I left home 50 years ago to try and become an accomplished musician and perform in front of whoever would show up,” Gill said in a press release. “All these years later, it feels as special today as it ever did.” Gill’s tour will showcase an all-star backing band including singing partner Wendy Moten. Most tickets for Gill’s tour go on-sale on Friday (February 21). (Taste of Country)
