Country singer Kelsea Ballerini has been battling a severe case of the flu over the past week, which has caused the country star to postpone a series of live performances on her first ever arena tour. The illness also prompted fans to spread intrusive pregnancy rumors, which Ballerini promptly shut down on social media. The singer was clearly frustrated by the speculation, dismissing the pregnancy claims with a deadpan response on TikTok, saying “Or maybe it’s the flu” in reply to a fan who commented, “maybe pregnant?” regarding her illness. Ballerini ended a recent Buffalo performance early and rescheduled that date along with the following shows in Pittsburgh and Toronto. Amidst the postponements, the tour’s opening act Marynn Taylor expressed support for Ballerini and urged fans to “give her some grace and love” as she focused on recuperation. Despite her health setbacks, Ballerini resumed her tour with a scheduled stop in Philadelphia on Monday and is set to play Boston on Thursday (February 13). (Taste of Country
