Coming up – you can dispose of your Hazardous and electronic waste in Canyon County for free.

Pickles Butte Sanitary Landfill is giving the opportunity to Canyon County residents to dispose of their household hazardous and electronic waste from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of the O’Connor Field House in Caldwell.

The event is free on Wednesday – but only for Canyon County residents.

Each household is allotted 25 gallons of waste or 20 household items.

There is a long list of accepted waste items which includes cleaning products, pesticides, automotive products like motor oil, painting supplies, batteries and fluorescent light bulbs and flammable products like propane tanks.
