The Nampa Fire Department, local volunteers, and the American Red Cross are teaming up to install Free smoke alarms in Nampa homes, and teach families about fire safety.
Working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death from home fires in half, and on average, people have just 2 minutes to escape their
home safely during a fire.
This Friday and Saturday (June 9/10) between 11am and 4pm, Nampa residents can have a free smoke alarm installed, but you do need to sign up.
If you’d like to request an appointment for a free smoke alarm or volunteer, go to soundthealarm.org/idaho or call, 208-429-5800
