The warmth not going away! Highs will once again warm into the mid-80s today. Look for partly cloudy skies and mostly dry conditions apart from a few isolated thunderstorms around the region. Conditions will be quite similar tomorrow with partly cloudy skies and mid-80 degree highs. On Thursday, we’ll likely begin to see some cooling.
That future cooling is due to an approaching storm off the southwestern coast. As the storm moves closer on Thursday, temperatures will drop a few degrees and it brings a higher probability of evening thunderstorms to the region. The storm will arrive on Friday, bringing periods of rain to most of southwest Idaho and highs will drop into the low 60s. Highs will likely stay in the 60s over the weekend. Showers may return on Sunday as well. We’ll keep you updated if anything changes!
