A second closure is now in effect on the Boise River Greenbelt.

The Boise River has flooded the Greenbelt under the West Parkcenter Bridge. The closure is about .25 mile long and a detour is in place from Beacon St. to Leadville Ave.

You are also being asked to please use the crosswalk to cross Parkcenter Blvd.

Boise River flows are currently around 5,500 cfs, which is above average for this time of year. Depending on weather conditions, flows could increase to 6,000 cfs over the coming weekend.

There is currently one other closure on the Boise River Greenbelt due to flooding; part of the Bethine Church River Trail closed on Monday.
