Sawtooth Avalanche Center says special avalanche bulletin remains in effect

Before you head out on a hiking trail or other kind of outdoor adventure, you might want to take this into consideration…

Sawtooth Avalanche Center reports a special avalanche bulletin remains in effect. The Center says right now the danger is considerable.

Natural and human-triggered wet avalanches large enough to bury people or destroy structures are possible.

Sawtooth Avalanche Center says to avoid steep slopes where you sink into a sloppy, wet snowpack.

Also they say you should minimize the time you spend on or below steep slopes receiving direct sunlight or rain.
