Today is the Boise School Board election, and polls are open (starting at 8am) to 8pm today for people who live within the Boise School District.
There are 13 candidates running for five different seats on the school board.
School board members, who are also called trustees, are elected at-large. That means any voter may vote in any or all of the races they would like.
Several schools within the district are being offered as polling locations.
The winners of Tuesday’s school board election will be sworn in during the Sept. 12 school board meeting.
