Chad Daybell and his attorney have been denied two motions that would have removed two prosecutors from his case.

According to Idaho court documents, judge Steven Boyce said the motions to remove prosecutors Rob Wood and Rachel Smith were denied.

CBS 2 News reports, the reasoning behind Boyce’s decision, however, are sealed.

Chad and his wife, Lori, are accused of multiple felonies — including the murder of Lori’s two children along with Chad’s former wife, Tammy.

Prosecutors have filed motions of intent to seek the death penalty against the two.
