Dan + Shay Share the Story Behind Their Song Writing

Dan + Shay’s new single at country radio is “You” – it’s the latest single from their album Good Things.

Fans love the music that the guys come up, and Shay Mooney shares the secret behind the process of the way he and Dan Smyers creates songs, “We’re not afraid to say what we’re thinking or ideas that we have because you know everything that we say we might be able to turn into something cool. There’s not necessarily a process per-say…we just get in there and we’ll start with whatever we have, whether it be a title, beat, or an idea any kind of concept and we just try to put together the missing pieces.”

Dan + Shay continue their amazing summer out on the road with Kenny Chesney’s Here And Now 2022 tour with their next stop being at Lumen Field in Seattle on the 16th.
