Boise School District sends out Coronavirus health advisory

 

The Boise School District sent out a coronavirus notification to parents as a precaution, after several students attended a gathering of students out of town.

KIVI-TV reports, Borah High School students attended a University of Idaho jazz festival with students from Jackson High School in Washington.

On Feb. 28th, Everett Public schools said a student from Jackson High School was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.

According to event organizers, the infected student did not attend the festival and those that did were not in contact with the student.

There are currently no confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Idaho.
