Meridian Costco on the corner of Chinden and Ten Mile getting closer to construction

A new Costco location in Meridian could soon greet customers.

The wholesale grocer won approval from the City of Meridian for a new location on Chinden Blvd. at Ten Mile Rd..

BoiseDev reports, now, the retailer has asked the City of Meridian to issue building permits for the main warehouse building and a fuel center.

The fuel center will sit on the corner of Chinden and Ten Mile and feature 15 double-sided fuel islands.

A site plan submitted to the City of Meridian also shows a potential future apartment complex. That portion of the project has not been submitted for approval and is marked “not finalized.”

Meridian city planners began a review of the building permits for Costco, but they have not yet been issued. No estimated opening date announced for the location.
