City of Boise adds second drop-off and pick-up spot

The City of Boise will test a second downtown drop-off and pick-up spot for traffic starting Friday.

The spot’s goal is to reduce congestion, improve safety and control the flow of traffic for people heading to the businesses downtown.

The drop-off area will be on Bannock between 8th Street and Capitol Blvd. Drivers can use the pick-up and drop-off zone from 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

CBS 2 News reports, the first tester spot started in May on Main Street between 5th and 6th Streets.

Just a warning — Don’t park in the zones at any time or you will get a ticket and possibly get your car towed.
