Caldwell man accused of pushing woman out of the moving vehicle

A Caldwell man is accused of leading Nampa police on a high-speed chase and pushing a woman out of the moving vehicle.

Nampa Police says Alex Ibarra led officers through Nampa, at times reaching speeds greater than 65-mph, and at one-point driving onto a ditch bank.

The incident started at about 1:41 a.m. in the area of N Ethel Dr. and Port and went through Nampa and into Canyon County.

CBS 2 News reports, Nampa Police were able to stop the driver using the PIT maneuver near Warren Spur Road.

Ibarra was taken into custody and booked in at the Canyon County Jail for felony eluding, aggravated assault and false imprisonment.
