Meridian police arrested multiple people in what they say was a drug deal gone bad.

The incident began when undercover Meridian police officers watched what they believed was a drug deal between Robert Cockerell of Meridian and Taylor Turnbull of Greenleaf. After the drug deal, officers followed Turnbull’s vehicle .

Officers then watched as a car driven by Stevie Defrance of Meridian tried to run Turnbull off the road and eventually rammed his car.

The Idaho Press reports, Police stopped both vehicles and performed a search which resulted in heroin being found.

Meanwhile, police caught up with Cockerell. He refused officers’ commands and fought with them, but they ultimately found 8 grams of heroin as well as $830 in cash and a scale in his posession.
