The Boise man accused of killing two women in the early 1990s is back in Boise and appeared in court Monday afternoon.
Lee Miller is accused of the 1994 murder of Cheryle Barratt, in Boise’s North End, and is charged with second-degree murder, after investigators used DNA evidence to link him to the crime.
Police were also able to use DNA tying him to the 1992 murder of a woman in Bremerton, Washington. He made an Alford plea to that murder charge last week in Washington.
The Idaho Press reports Miller faces a possible sentence of life in prison in Idaho for the second degree murder charge here.
Miller appeared in court by video from the Ada County Jail Monday afternoon and the judge agreed with the prosecutor’s request to leave his bond at $2 million. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 9.
