Kinner Name Change Denied

Timmy Kinner

Boise (670 KBOI News) – Accused murder Timmy Kinner’s name will not be changed to Eternal Love, says an Ada County judge.

According to the Idaho Press, Magistrate Judge Lynette McHenry said Kinner was not at a hearing Tuesday to make his case, and did not request transportation from the Idaho Maximum Security Institution to the courthouse.

Bifituu Kadir, the mother of the three-year old girl Kinner is accused of stabbing to death, asked the judge to deny Kinner’s request, because changing his name would complicate the case against him.

Kinner asked the court in December to let him change his name to Eternal Love, saying it was the name he wanted to be remembered by, and it was his God-given right.

Kinner is accused of stabbing nine people at the little girl’s birthday party last summer at a West Boise apartment complex. He’s currently undergoing mental health treatment, after being found unfit to stand trial.
