Nampa Man Arrested on Terrorism, Stalking Charges

Stevenson

Nampa (670 KBOI News) – A Nampa man is scheduled to be in court today, on terrorism and stalking charges.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the arrest came after a bomb threat Thursday night, in the area near Liberty Park.

Residents in the area, around the intersection of Constitution Way and Juniper Street, were told to shelter in place.

Police searched the area, but found nothing to indicate the bomb threat was real. They interviewed several people, and later arrested Grant Stevenson on a felony terrorism charge and the misdemeanor stalking charge.

The NPD says as of this morning, the threat is over.
