Boise Police Need Your Help Finding Suspected Con Artist

Gibson

Boise (670 KBOI News) – Boise Police are asking for your help locating a suspected con man, who failed to show up in court to answer to the charges against him.

Tracy Rae Gibson is accused of advertising window replacement services for homeowners in Boise, and would take down payments, but never do the work.

Gibson has felony warrants out for grand theft and failure to appear, and police have recently spoken with him by phone, but he refuses to come in.

If you know where he is or have information that could help police, you should call 570-6000, or dispatch at 377-6790.

In the meantime, BPD is advising anyone looking to hire a contractor to research them well, check them through the Better Business Bureau, never pay in cash, and never put more than 10% down.
