Residents can give feedback on Boise budget

Boise residents who want to weigh in on the city budget have an early chance to make their voices heard.

The city has launched an online survey at BoiseBudgetSurvey.com to gather feedback on how city services, neighborhood improvement projects, public safety, economic development and other city functions should be funded in the upcoming fiscal year. A Spanish translation of the survey is also provided.

The Idaho Press reports, the feedback will be shared with Mayor Dave Bieter, council members and city staff as they develop the next fiscal years budget in the next few months. Boise’s fiscal year begins on Oct. 1, and a public hearing on the budget will be held this summer.
