Meridian (670 KBOI News) – We’re getting a hint at what may take over the land that was once the home of the Farmstead corn maze, next to I-84 in Meridian.

BoiseDev.com publisher Don Day says developer and former gubernatorial candidate Tommy Alquist has filed plans with the City of Meridian, to build a so-called golf entertainment complex.

“Now, we don’t know who the actual tenant or vendor is going to be there, but we do know it’s going to be something in the style of what you would see with Top Golf.”

If you’ve never heard of Top Golf, imagine a multi-level driving range, which is climate controlled, with food, drinks and live music.  Click here for a better idea.

Also planned for the area, a hotel, some retail shops, and the headquarters for Idaho Central Credit Union.
