Toys for Tots: A Solemn Marine Corps Reserve Mission

Boise (670 KBOI News) – Every year, the Marine Corps Reserve carries out a solemn mission…to make sure all kids have the Christmas they deserve.

It’s Toys for Tots, and this year, 670 KBOI is teaming up with the Marine Corps Reserve’s 4th Tank Battalion to collect toys for Treasure Valley kids, at the Sportsman’s Warehouse in Meridian, for Operation It Takes a Village.

Sergeant Devin Zeballos says they want to fill a trailer full of toys, all of which will go to local kids…

“The toys we’re specifically looking for are between the ages of infancy and 12-years old,” said SGT Zeballos.  “New, and unwrapped, we’ll be able to take those, and turn them over to those families in need.   Send that message of hope and encouragement.”

The Marines, along with 670 KBOI air staff and volunteers will be at the Sportsman’s Warehouse from 5:00 am ’til midnight Friday and Saturday, and 5 am ’til 5 pm Sunday.
