Wilder (670 KBOI News) – A presidential daughter and a tech big-wig will pay a visit to the Treasure Valley tomorrow.
According to CBS-2 TV, Ivanka Trump will visit the Wilder School district, along with Apple CEO Tim Cook, to see how Wilder Schools us technology to engage students and enhance learning.
The district sent parents a letter Monday, letting them know that the long-rumored visit would actually happen.
Why Wilder? In 2016, the District received a grant from Apple to buy iPads for all students, on which to do their class and homework.
It’s part of the White House ConnectED initiative, which in part, is working to get high-speed internet service in every school in the nation.
