Meridian (670 KBOI News) – Parents, check your kids’ trick or treat candy.

The Meridian Police Department says a kid who had been trick or treating in the Presidential neighborhood got a bag of rat poison while trick or treating Wednesday night.

That’s the neighborhood bordered to the west by Eagle Rd, to the south by Pine, and to the north by the Meridian Crossroads Shopping Center.

The child doesn’t remember from which house he got the poison, but police are investigating.
