Boise (670 KBOI News) – As many as 2,500 dogs and their owners will descend on Julia Davis Park Saturday for the 26th Annual See Spot Walk fundraiser for the Idaho Humane Society.
Coordinator Kristy Sternes with the Humane Society says they’ll have a 5K run at 9:00, and a 1-mile walk at 10. It’s easy to sign yourself and your best buddy up…
“The easiest way is to come to the Shelter from 10 ’til 6 on Thursday or Friday, or you can do it online at SeSpotWalk.org, or you can do it the morning of the event,” said Sternes. “The regular registration fee is $30, and it includes a See Spot Walk commemorative T-shirt, and a bandanna for your dog.”
All proceeds go directly to the Idaho Human Society.
It’s not just the run and walk, either…there will be about 80 pet related vendors around the band shell at Julia Davis. There will also be contests, demonstrations and a doggie talent show.
