Eagle Man Charged After Bringing Dead Woman to Fire Station In Pickup

Eagle (670 KBOI News) – An Eagle man is charged with failure to report a death, after he showed up at an Eagle fire station with a dead woman in his pickup.

According to CBS-2 TV, Zachary Pennisi drove to the fire station on Floating Feather Road Saturday morning.

He told Ada County deputies he found the woman, who apparently lived at his home in the area of Floating Feather and Horseshoe Bend, dead in his driveway.

Deputies determined she had died of a heroin overdose, and had apparently been dead longer than just the few hours Pennisi said. They found evidence of drug use at Pennisi’s home.

He was arrested and booked, but posted bond.
