Emmett School District Releases Video of Alleged Assault by Bus Driver

Emmett (670 KBOI News) – The Emmett School District has released the video from the incident on a school bus in which a driver allegedly abused a special needs student.

According to the Emmett Messenger-Index, the incident happened on April 12th in the bus area of Shadow Butte Elementary School.  The student’s mother says he suffered a bruised knee and bruised ribs after the incident.

The driver had been driving school buses since 1998, but resigned after the incident.  An investigation is underway.
