Ada County Coroner Identifies 4-Year Old Girl who Died in April Car Fire

Boise (670 KBOI News) – The Ada County Coroner has released the name of the 4-year old girl who died, after the car in which her family was sleeping caught fire early on the morning of April 10th.

Alliee Rose was found dead in the car, after it caught fire in the parking lot of a shopping center on West Overland Road.  Investigators concluded the fire was caused by a portable heater that was being used inside the car.

A baby was also in the car at the time of the fire; it was seriously injured, but is expected to recover.

The parents of the kids are in the Ada County Jail — Nicholas Rose is charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor petit theft charges, and a list of other charges.  Jennifer Miller is charged with felony injury to a child.  That’s due to drugs being found in close proximity of the baby.

Toxicology results aren’t back yet, and the case is still being investigated.
