Boise (670 KBOI News) – Primary Election Day is coming soon, on May 15th. But if your mind’s already made up, why wait ’til then to cast your vote?
Phil McGrane with the Ada County Elections Office says early voting starts Monday, and there are a lot of candidates running for a lot of offices.
“We have an open governor’s race, as well as open congressional, lieutenant governor, and many other races, especially the legislative seats that are up,” said McGrane. “On Monday, early voting begins, and its an opportunity for those who can’t vote on May 15th, or if people just want it to be more convenient, they can stop at any of our early voting locations.”
Those early voting locations are Boise and Meridian City Halls, and the Elections office on Benjamin in Boise. Voting there will be from 8 til 5 today through Friday, and next Saturday at the same time.
To top it off, the mobile early voting van will be out again, making sure folks in Star, Kuna, and out in the county have a chance to vote early without driving all the way into Boise or Meridian. Click here to go to the Ada County Elections Office webpage.
