Nampa (670 KBOI News) – We have an update on that deadly stabbing turned officer involved shooting in Nampa Tuesday.

The Canyon County Sheriff’s Office is identifying the man shot and killed by police as 29-year old Evan Bashir of Meridian. Investigators say he killed 22-year old Kymberlee Larsen of Nampa by stabbing and slashing her.

Also wounded in the attack were 27-year old Chelsea Larsen and 57-year old Julianna Flowers…they are recovering from their wounds. Kymberlee died at the scene after officers arrived.

The Idaho Statesman is reporting she was the mother of Bashir’s infant child, one of three children present during the attack…none of them were injured.

Body camera footage from the two responding officers shows only one of them fired his weapon at Bashir…both officers are on administrative leave.
