Nampa Police Officer Arrested for Prescription Fraud

Nampa (670 KBOI News) – We’re learning a little more about the arrest this morning of a Nampa Police officer.

According to the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, Officer Jarad Webb was taken into custody this morning on a felony count of prescription drug fraud, and a misdemeanor count of filing a false police report.

He was booked into the Canyon County Jail, but is expected to be transferred to the Ada County Jail today. His bond was set at $50,000. If he posts bond, his first court appearance will be set for a later date, if not, he’ll be in court tomorrow.

More information on the circumstances of Webb’s arrest are not available right now.
