Meridian (670 KBOI News) – If your morning commute takes you on Eagle Road, the past two mornings have probably been a headache for you.  But cheer up…things should be back normal tomorrow morning.

According to the Idaho Transportation Department, they expect the road to be re-opened about 10:00 tonight (Wednesday).  It was closed Monday night due to a water main leak.

Paving is being done on the section of road that had to be torn up, and final striping is expected to wrap up tonight.

The intersection of Eagle Road and Fairview Avenue is the busiest in the state, with about 76,000 vehicles per day passing through.
