Santa Will Make One More Swing Through Garden City Before Christmas Eve

Garden City (670 KBOI) – It’s almost game time for Santa Claus, but he’s making one more swing through Garden City, to check his list twice.

Lieutenant Tom Patterson with the Garden City Police says tomorrow night’s Santa Parade will give good kids one more chance to be recognized, and those who have misbehaved one more chance to redeem themselves before Christmas.

But it’ll also be a treat for the Big Guy himself.

“Santa’s gonna be riding around with us, so we teamed up with Ada County Metro SWAT, he’s actually going to be riding in one of the SWAT vehicles,” said Patterson.  “He’s always wanted to; that’s been a dream of Santa’s for a long time.”

The parade will make stops all across town, but mostly on Adams Street, from 6:00 to around 8:30.  Click here for a full list of stops and times.

If your kids have already talked with Santa this year, and you want to avoid the traffic, Patterson says Chinden and Glennwood should be good alternate routes.
