Canyon Co. Police Chase Ends in Caldwell Field

Canyon County (670 KBOI) – A police chase that started in Nampa ends in a field outside Caldwell, and an alleged car thief going to jail.

The Idaho Press Tribune reports Nampa police responded to a call Monday from a man who said his pickup had been stolen. Officers spotted the truck almost immediately, near South Midway and Roosevelt Avenue.

The driver of the truck drove off, and a short chase ensued. He drove the truck into a field on Indiana Avenue near Lone Star Road. When the truck got stuck, police moved in an arrested Christopher Robling.

Robling was booked into the Canyon County Jail…he’s also being investigated for possibly having stolen another vehicle in the same area.
