A Caldwell woman pleaded guilty Monday to obtaining controlled substances by fraud.
Carrie Johnson faces up to four years in prison, a maximum fine of $250,000 and up to one year of supervised release for forging prescriptions she took from a medical office she worked in.
The Idaho Press Tribune reports, Johnson worked as a medical assistant from approximately January to December 2016. While employed, she took possession of, and filled out, blank prescriptions from two practitioners.
She used the blank prescriptions to forge prescriptions for herself and family members. The forged prescriptions were for oxycodone.
Sentencing is set for Feb. 28th.
