Chandler Hutchison was dominant in securing his 15th career double-double and fourth of the season, as the Broncos made quick work of Sacramento State Saturday afternoon at Taco Bell Arena, winning 77-54.
The 9-1 record ties for the best 10-game start to a season in school history and is the best since the 1988-89 season when the team also started 9-1. The victory also extended the team’s non-conference home winning streak to 23 games – the longest in the Mountain West and 12th-longest in the nation.
Boise State will return to Taco Bell Arena for its final non-conference home game on Wednesday, against the preseason favorite in the WAC, Grand Canyon. The game will tip at 7 p.m. (MT).
