The Boise Police Department is investigating a vehicle vs motorcycle crash on State St. west of Glenwood St. just after 4pm on Saturday.

KBOI-2-TV reports, the motorcycle and the other vehicle were both traveling westbound when the motorcyclist attempted to pass on the right in the bike lane as the other vehicle made a right turn into a business.

The motorcycle rider was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s identity will be released by the Ada County Coroner once proper notifications have been made.

The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
