Beltane Fantasy Festival – May 10th, 2025

For More Information visit: https://expoidaho.com/event/beltane-fantasy-festival-5/

The Beltane Fantasy Festival presented by the Idaho Renaissance Faire is an annual family event held at Expo Idaho’s Carnival Grass Fields (near Hawks Stadium side) at 5610 Glenwood Street in Boise, Idaho.

Beltane is a Scottish folklore celebration of Spring with faeries, elves and fantastical sights. Similar to a Renaissance Faire, people often choose to come in costume (some very elaborate) and enjoy the many booths selling everything from leatherwork, handcrafted swords and jewelry, dragons and unicorns, costumes, and all manner of foods, beverages, games and crystals. The Courts, made up of Seelies and Unseelies (good-natured and malevolent faeries), are symbolic of the darkness of winter approaching the lightness of spring.

There are armored combat sword-fighting presentations, jugglers, fire masters, storytellers, orcs, blacksmiths, mermaids, stockades, dragons, a maypole and more. Did I mention period music and dance? And there are many, many things that will entertain the kids.

Hours: Saturday Faire on May 10th opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM

Sunday Faire on May 11th opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM

Admission is $10 per person ages 9 and up. 8 years old or under is free.
