A trough of low pressure is heading toward southern Idaho this morning. This will likely bring some cloud cover to the Treasure Valley and showers in the mountains. By the afternoon, skies should begin to clear. This trough of low pressure will also bring some coastal air that should cool temperatures today and tomorrow. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s today before cooling back down around average tomorrow.
High pressure will return by midweek. This will likely result in another stretch of warming that will have us in the 100s this weekend. In fact, we could see 100-degree highs from Thursday all the way through the following Monday. Stay hydrated and stay safe folks!
