The Ada County Sheriff’s Office shared in a post on social media that Eagle Police are investigating a body that was found in the Boise River.

Eagle Police received a report of a body found just after 6:30 pm Thursday, from some people that were recreating on the banks of the river just south of E. Whitby Lane.

The body was found partially submerged in the water and appears to have been there for an extended period of time.

The Coroners office is currently working to identify the person, and investigators did set up a perimeter last night to look for evidence.
