A Police chase ended badly in Mountain Home for the man that was trying to get away.

Early Sunday morning, city and county law enforcement pursued a car driven by a man from Mountain Home.

The pursuit ended at the intersection of Airbase Road and Elmcrest Avenue when the man crashed. He was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

The crash closed the intersection for two and a half hours while emergency responders cleared the scene.

The driver has not yet been identified, and Idaho State Police are investigating.
