People in Ada County went to the ballot box on Tuesday with the WASD seeking a $50 million School Plant Facilities Reserve Fund Levy.
The votes have been counted, and the LEVY FAILED to reach the needed threshold of votes needed.
Only 43% of voters were in favor of the levy, with 57% against.
The levy needed 55% of voters to be in favor to pass, and will not be funded.
The levy, which was intended to help with building and maintenance costs for the school district, would have begun in July and funded each year in the amount of up to fifty million dollars for ten years through fiscal year ending in 2033.
